Sonar line-up complete: everything from Vitalic via Moderat to Veronica Vasicka (updated)

Masters at Work, the seminal DJ duo, will hold a 6-hour DJ set in SonarCar to complete the line-up for this year’s edition of Sonar Barcelona.

This addition completes a packed programme, which already includes the likes of Justice, Arca (live) & Jesse Kanda (av), Clark, Veronica Vasicka, Soulwax, DJ Shadow, Nicolas Jaar, Moderat, Eric Prydz, De La Soul, Vitalic, Nina Kraviz, Nosaj Thing + Daito Manabe, Thundercat, Jon Hopkins and many more, across 3 days and 2 nights.

Here is a cursory look over acts that Release viewers might want to know.

First up, Arca & Jesse Kanda – an AV show from the truly unique and extreme electronic artist who has worked with Björk. Clark brings his powerful new album and live show to Sonar Hall, with another set of Björk collaborators, Matmos, who will make for a Red Bull Academy stage highlight, as will Brainfeeder favourite Thundercat.

DJ Shadow will perform his new album, and no doubt remind everyone why he is king of the sampler. Dopplereffekt will perform music composed for a project based around a scientific lecture, Entropy. Jon Hopkins and Minimal Wave’s Veronica Vasicka will be present DJ:ing (not together, of course), and to finish, a trio of past Sonar favourites – Moderat, Justice and Sweden’s own Little Dragon.
