Sebastian Rutgersson and Peter Engström are so far perhaps more known under their 047 alias where they play a mix of synthpop and bitpop. Now they’ve started Hjärta (means heart in Swedish). It’s a new synthpop project together with singer Thomas Halberstad, aiming for a pure electronic synthpop sound with Swedish lyrics. So far they’ve released two singles: “Snälla, håll käft” and “Borde vara jag”. And now we’re waiting for “Tanken” to be released by Gothenburg label Killing Music on May 8, with an album also in the works.
There will be more 047 material in the future, but right now they’re focusing on finishing the album with Hjärta.
