The Cure prepares three albums

In addition to the new studio album that is expected this winter, goth rockers The Cure are preparing two more albums.

Robert Smith has already made progress with the second album, which he says will have a free, but strong, pronounced sound. The third album will be more experimental and noisy.

We’re all waiting for confirmation on the first single off the first album. Smith has said it will most likely see the light of day at the end of the year and that the album as a whole is affected by the loss of his father, mother and brother. It seems The Cure will compensate for the long wait since their last album in 2008.
