Release at Sonar; 20th fest started today

20th anniversary celebrations are set to start today at Sonar 2013 in Barcelona. Release has once again press access, so look out for a report and pictures to follow.
Along with the 20th year come some big changes. The Sonar by Day venue has completely been re-thought – a larger venue in Plaza Espana, which is also nearer the Sonar by Night venue, has been selected. Also, it is believed that the stages at Sonar by Night have been altered too, to increase the size of some of the smaller, crowded areas.
The festivities begun 12 pm today (Thursday June 13), and continue through to Sunday, with Skrillex, Laurent Garnier, Karl Hyde (Underworld), Lindström, 2manydjs and, of course, Kraftwerk and the Pet Shop Boys among the hundreds of artists here to entertain throughout the weekend.
