The Front 242 singer has a “serious medical condition”

A few days ago we wrote that Front 242 singer Jean-Luc De Meyer’s health was ”worrying”.

Now, it’s been confirmed he has a “serious medical condition” and needs time to recover. The good news is he’s expected to be back on stage later 2022.

The Belgian EBM band has now postponed the North American April tour “due to a recent medical situation concerning our singer Jean-Luc De Meyer, deeming him medically unable to travel”. New dates in September and October have been announced. Front 242 has also moved their gig in Gothenburg, Sweden, to November.

In a statement, Front 242 writes “Jean-Luc would like to thank you for the many messages of support he has received these last days. This goes straight to his heart.”
