Vince Clarke keeps himself busy (besides celebrating 30 years of Erasure with their new compilation) by working with other musicians. Recently he appeared on two tracks on Jean-Michel Jarre’s new album, and now he’s planning a full album with Paul Hartnoll from Orbital.
Vince is setting up his own independent label for this album and other projects like it, and we’ll probably see the result in the last half of 2016. According to an interview with The Star it’s dance music but way more accessible than the VCMG album he did with Martin Gore.
Erasure will also start working on new material in the spring and according to the same interview they “want the next one to be weird and experimental”. Which sounds good to me.
