Westcoast Open Air cancelled

Swedish promoter Electronic Sound Sweden just released the news that their planned festival Westcoast Open Air will be cancelled.

The festival was planned for June at Backamo in Sweden and had booked 25 bands within the electronic genre with Solitary Experiments, Leaether Strip, The Invincible Spirit and Plastic Noise Experience among the headliners.

Just hours before, the band Tyske Ludder went public that they had cancelled their planned performance at the festival due to “contractual issues”.

Electronic Sound Sweden will take a long break due to health problems but will still try to arrange the upcoming show with Armageddon Dildos in Jönköping on May 2, but all other plans have been put on hold.
