S.P.O.C.K meets Kirk.

S.P.O.C.K is back from their US tour. They did 19 gigs, in 18 states during 25 days.
Several record companies showed interest in signing S.P.O.C.K for the US market and the discussions will continue. Meanwhile their latest album "S.P.O.C.K: 1999" is distributed by Metropolis.
S.P.O.C.K refers to the US trip as a huge success and a big adventure. They managed to get caught by a police patrol for driving too fast in the desert. They played at a the world's largest Star Trek convention, where they had the chance to meet Cpt Kirk himself (William Shatner). Unfortunately his collegue DeForest Kelley (Dr McCoy) past away a few days ago at the age of 79.
New album, single and tour with Eurythmics
As we've written earlier, Eurythmics, is about to make a comeback. The single "I Saved the World Today" will show up in September and the new album "Peace" on October 25. The gigs for an autumn world tour are being booked as we speak.
Pet Shop Boys will release new single
On July 19 Pet Shop Boys are back with their new single "I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Anymore". The single will also feature a collaboration with Sam Taylor Wood in the cover "Je t'aime". A new album is on the way, but no details are set.
Memento Materia have signed Sadovaja
The Gothenburg trip hop-duo Sadovaja signed with Memento Materia last Sunday. The will start recordings for their debut single and album in the end of the summer and they are likely to be released in early 2000. The electro rock band Elasmo will co-produce.
Roskilde Festival sold out
No more tickets are on sale for this year's Roskilde Festival. A cancellation: Culture Club will not play.
